BENS LAD proved a popular winner of the £1,500 Time Greyhound Nutrition Easter Trophy Final at Crayford.
Roared on by his huge team of owners, the Julie Luckhurst-trained, Snowdon Racing-owned November 19 son of Laughil Blake and Snow Acorn was completing a magnificent seven-timer in the 540m final and afterwards headed off to Towcester to begin his preparation for an English Greyhound Derby bid.
For the record, the 2-11 favourite won by almost six lengths from kennelmate So Solemn for a Luckhurst-traned one-two in 33.52sec.
