Greyhound of the Month – July 2024 – Aero Sacundai

AERO SACUNDAI is the Time Greyhound Nutrition Greyhound of the Month for July after his success in the BetGoodwin Pall Mall at Oxford.

Trained by Richie Taberner (pictured) for the Aero Racing Syndicate of Stuart Forsdike, Mike Woolgar, Geoff Ansley and Monmore trainer Taberner himself, the Feb 22 son of Ballymac Cashout and Beaming Smasher used his trap one draw in the Pall Mall final to get first run on fast-starting Long Fellow (Matt Dartnall).

Thereafter, the ex-Graham Holland-trained speedster was always in charge on his way to taking down the £10,000 Category One prize in 26.52sec (normal) for the 450m trip.

In winning the monthly award, Aero Sacundai saw off the challenge of Baywatch Bullet, Newinn Benni, Slick Sentinel and Wicky Ned – the other big-race winners during the month.
